Modular Mini Garden
The Harvst H-Mini is a neat, productive counter-top grow system, perfect for producing herbs, microgreens and salad leaves right where you need them in the kitchen. Using off-cuts from the production of our H-Series Indoor Grow Systems, we’ve come up with an innovative solution that optimally utilises production materials, while providing an excellent miniature kitchen garden.
The H-Mini offers exceptional versatility and user-friendliness. What sets it apart is its extendibility – simply elevate the frame and introduce an additional growing tier, effectively doubling your capacity within the same compact footprint. Now, that’s what we call smart! (Please note that the additional tier is an optional extra.)
Furthermore, the H-Mini can be equipped with an optional water level sensor. This ingenious feature acts as a vigilant guardian, notifying you when the water levels are running low, safeguarding your delicate plants from wilting. This sensor also proves invaluable for individuals planning to be away from home for a few days, allowing them to top up the reservoir before their departure.
For those seeking extended peace of mind, the H-Mini offers the option of a separate pump. This means you can leave your H-Mini unattended for even longer periods, and it will autonomously maintain the water levels. No more fretting over your plants while you’re away.
Prepare the compost by soaking it in water and breaking it up. Fill the inner microgreens tray (with holes) with a 5mm (¼”) layer of coir / coco compost. Sprinkle your seeds over the top, and cover with a thin layer of coco, or if you have another seed tray, put that on and weigh it down, to give maximum contact between the seeds and the damp coco. When the seeds germinate, give them another day and then remove the extra tray. Keep the coco moist with a sprayer, and when the roots are long enough, top up with nutrient solution in the water tray which holds the microgreens tray.
Place dehydrated jiffy pellets in the nursery propagator tray. Rehydrate with water. Sow one or two seeds per pellet. Keep moist. When the seeds germinate, reverse the lid on the nursery to give some air. When the first set of true leaves appear, move the jiffy pellet into a 5cm (2”) plant cup, and place in the growing tray. Mix nutrients, and fill the water tray with nutrient solution so that the bottom of the cup is under water. Keep the nutrients topped up so that the coir does not dry out.
Use the powerful light with a propagator to give your seedlings a strong start in life.
24W, dims with main light. Open up the frame to its maximum height and insert the extra level. Plug in and go.
Your H-Mini will flash a red light and beep periodically when water is low (less than 2 cm of water in tray). You can mute the beeper using the dim button, and turn off the beep feature permanently using the wifi control panel. Only supported for one growing tier.
Sturdy, height-adjustable frame. Unlike most other counter top grow systems and grow lights, the H-mini is strong enough to put things on top of, so you don’t waste any countertop space.
Powerful yet dimmable LED grow lights. Strong 24W light gives your plants excellent growth, yet dimmable for when you’ve got the house lights down low.

Microgreens are tiny crops that are harvested as seedlings and have been found to contain up to 40 times higher levels of nutrients than their more mature counterparts. Perfect for adding a tasty twist and colour, microgreens can be enjoyed in a sandwich, salad, soup, stir-fry or even a dessert.
Microgreens are best eaten fresh, so growing them at home gives you the most nutrition, while also being more cost effective than buying them in.
