Harvst to attend the RHS Chelsea Flower Show
We’re excited to announce that we’re attending the return of one of the world’s greatest garden shows – the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London! The calendar highlight returns 24-28 May with more than 30 unique exhibition gardens.
We will be exhibiting at the show in partnership with It Will Grow, and will be displaying some of our signature climate-controlled mini-greenhouses. Fully made in Britain, the greenhouses are for anyone who wants to grow greens, herbs and salads at home throughout the year.
The stand – designed by It Will Grow owner Will Murray – rethinks how we can use limited outdoor spaces for hands-on gardening. The innovative Potting Balcony Garden sponsored by @Viking offers a practical place to sow seeds, pot up plans and propagate cuttings.
The conceptual space also exhibits a mini-greenhouse from us which utilises smart garden technology to nurture micro-greens and seedlings ready for the kitchen, for transfer to an allotment or community garden, and for growing all year round. Making the most of the small space, the functional design also offers a place to relax among the greenery and enjoy the view.
Reflecting growing interest in self-sufficiency and growing your own food, ‘easy to grow edibles’ are at the core of the stand. Our Mini Greenhouses provide self -ventilation, climate-controlled care, to ensure year-round growth and optimal conditions for plants. The Sprout range provides shelter, light, warmth, and auto-ventilation – helping you grow throughout the seasons.
Our Founder, Chris Tanner said “We’d like Harvst to be instrumental in helping everyone in the UK grow more of their own food. Reducing food miles, food waste, plastic packaging, and developing the essential skill that is growing your own food, is incredibly important as climate change affects the seasons and our produce here in the UK. We want Sprout, and Harvst to be a part of that change.”
