Indoor greenhouses for growing all year round

An indoor greenhouse lets you grow a large variety of crops indoors, giving you fresh greens all year round.

Unlike the mini “kitchen gardens” available which only produce a small amount of a few varieties of plants, a Sprout indoor greenhouse lets you grow in soil or compost – giving you the chance to grow larger greens as well as growing smaller root vegetables indoors, such as carrots, radish, spring onion and beetroot.

There are certain techniques which differ from growing outdoors, and for many plants you’ll need to use grow lights (which are built in to the mini greenhouse).

The two smaller models of Sprout range can be used as an indoor greenhouse, with the watering, lighting and heating taken care of for you by an automatic control system.

Salads

Lettuce, rocket and other similar salads are easy to grow in a Sprout, either indoors or outdoors. Using deep seed trays you can go all the way from seed to crop without much input at all.

Leafy greens

Spinach, Spinach Beet, Kale, Chard … again all straightforward to grow in a Sprout mini greenhouse. You’d want deeper soil for larger plants, using a larger grow container.

Herbs

Basil, Coriander, Mint and other herbs are easily grown in a Sprout. Herbs don’t take up much space so you can use the system to its maximum capacity.

Other vegetables

Spring onion, microgreens, and even some root vegetables such as radish are also possible.
